The new BL-1 Level for HSA has been designed primarily for use on the HSA-45 and HSA-80, but can be used on virtually any item with a standard hot shoe adapter. The BL-1 is made of aluminium and then anodized black. A recess has been milled into the underside of the base. This prevents the bubble level from slipping out of the HSA, even with a moderately tightened screw, as was the case with the older plastic version.
