The little elephant 2 from Xhia Fototechnik is a small, flexible and lightweight mini tripod for numerous applications with a built-in ball head. The ball diameter is 50mm and thus meets professional demands in terms of adjustment precision and clamping force. The little elephant 2 is therefore an "always with you" tripod, not only for shots close to the ground.

Compared to the previous version, the little elephant 2 has been redesigned and significantly improved. The current version has a red anodised aluminium ball with engraved logo and offers even more sensitive operation with the same functionality. This also convinced fotoMAGAZIN, which awarded it the highest test rating of "Super" in a practical check in August 2017.

The camera plate has a 1/4 photo thread. The camera is screwed on by means of a wing screw from the opposite side of the ball! This special design has the advantage that, on the one hand, a very secure camera mounting is possible and, on the other hand, the camera can be turned horizontally separately by loosening the wing screw when the ball is fixed (e.g. for panorama shots).

Designed as a four-legged tripod (which can be adjusted without wobbling on any surface), the little elephant 2 offers an unbeatable large support surface for very safe working on the ground. In addition, it can also be used very well as a bipod. In this configuration, it can be used extremely flexibly and is also more shake-proof than any monopod.

In addition, with an adapter, almost any photo accessory from other manufacturers (e.g. clamps or suction cups) can be mounted directly on the little elephant 2 via the 1/4" connection or by means of an adapter.

Like our other products, the little elephant 2 and the carbon legs are manufactured in cooperation between Xhia and FLM in Germany and are elaborately assembled by hand.
