The CP-30 M5 II (Hybrid) is another tripod from the current tripod series from FLM without a centre column. The tripod is therefore particularly stiff and highly loadable. It has a load capacity of up to 16 kg.

The legs of the CP-30 M5 II (hybrid) consist of 5 segments. Despite its height of 150 cm, the tripod can be folded to a packing size of only 46 cm. The legs of this model can no longer be folded upwards, as was possible with the old models with a centre column. In favour of an improved and more stable mechanism for the locking function of the tripod legs in connection with a new shoulder made of CNC-milled aluminium, we did without this function. The aluminium leg connections are now also CNC-milled. This additionally increases the strength and durability of the mechanics compared to the previous tripod parts made of die-cast.

On two flanks of the tripod shoulder there are holes with 1/4 inch threads. Optional accessories such as a carrying strap can be attached here. In addition, the shoulder of the CP-30 M5 II has a circular bubble for levelling on one flank.

In addition, wide and removable rubber feet are attached to the current FLM tripods in favour of stability. This was at the expense of the earlier bayonet system, but now allows the mounting of other accessories. This means that the rubber feet or spikes can be screwed onto the current models as usual. The FLM tripods come with particularly stable spikes.

The CP-30 M5 II (Hybrid) is supplied with rubber feet, spikes and tools for changing.

Each tripod is individually checked before delivery and only after a thorough inspection does it receive a serial number engraved by laser.
