The CP-26 Travel II is a lightweight and compact travel tripod without center column. It is an optimal companion for all those who like to plan extensive shooting tours. Especially when it comes to the mountains, every gram of weight counts. The small pack size of 43 centimeters helps to take it also e.g. on bicycle tours. The CP-26 Travel II complements our range of tripods without center column.

The legs of the CP-26 Travel II consist of 5 segments. Despite its height of 136 cm, the tripod can be folded to a packing size of only 43 cm. The legs of this model can no longer be folded upwards, as was possible with the old models with center column. In favor of an improved and more stable mechanism for the locking function of the tripod legs in conjunction with a new shoulder made of CNC-milled aluminum, we did without this function. Also CNC-milled are now the Aulimium leg connections. This additionally increases the stiffness and longevity of the mechanics compared to the earlier die-cast tripod parts.

On the current FLM tripods are also, in favor of the stability, wide and removable rubber feet. This was at the expense of the earlier bayonet system, but now allows the mounting of other accessories. That is, on the current models, the rubber feet or spikes are screwed on as usual. The FLM tripods come with particularly sturdy spikes.

The delivery of the CP-26 Travel II includes rubber feet, spikes and tools for changing.

Like all newer models, the CP-26 Travel II is manufactured and assembled by FLM China (Beijing), our Chinese partner for the Asian region. As always, we are meticulous in ensuring that our quality specifications are met. Each tripod is individually inspected before delivery and only after thorough inspection receives a serial number engraved by us by laser.
